ashley@meldlaw.com

Ashley Vallillo Manzi is a founding partner of MELD Divorce and Family Law. Ashley is an experienced family law attorney, advocating for her clients with the utmost practicality and professionalism. Ashley is an experienced litigator and her practice areas include prenuptial agreements, divorce, custody, child support and post judgment matters. She is also a trained mediator and serves to help clients resolve their differences through alternative dispute resolution.

Ashley has been named by Thomson Reuters as a Rising Star 2014 – 2024 and she was named as a Super Lawyer for 2025 and 2026.   Super Lawyers® is a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. This recognition is earned only by the top 5% of attorneys in the state.

Ashley started her legal career by clerking for the Honorable Thomas P. Zampino, J.S.C. (Ret’d). Following her clerkship, Ashley went on to practice commercial litigation at McElroy, Deutsch, Mulvaney & Carpenter until she commenced her career in the family law sector.

Ashley received her B.A. from University of Delaware, with a degree in English and a minor in Spanish. At the University of Delaware, Ms. Manzi was a member of Phi Sigma Sigma, and she served as the President of the Panhellenic Council.

Ashley lives in Hudson County with her husband and her two children. When she isn’t in the office, Ashley enjoys the beach, a good spin class (with the really loud dance music), spending time with her family, and occasionally catching up on a good book (audio book recommendations welcome). Ashley is an author herself. In her book, Balance is Bullsh*t, and on her blog Working Mom, she describes her life as a working mom and how she tries to strike an impossible balance.
